Hello! I'm Laura Balboa and this is my first guest post on the Crate Paper blog. Working with Crate Paper design team is truly a dream come true. When you have a dream and work hard to achieve it, it'll come true.
Today, I am here to show you my first project which will help you get to know me a bit. I am very nervous, but I will try to put my nerves aside and explain my first project well. Even though English is not an easy language for me, I hope you understand and like my project!
This box represents who I am, what I do and what I like the most. I have used the Magical Forest collection and it is a very simple project to do.
First, I created the box with cardboard and lined it with cardstock. Then I covered it with a decorated paper. Next, I lined it on the inside with another paper.
To close the box I have cut 4 pieces of cardboard to fit the base and the lid. I used another decorated paper and glued it to the base of the box. After that, I decorated the entire box with die cuts and alphabet stickers from the collection.
I decorate the box with one of the wooden animal clips, which I will also use to place photos!
To finish the project, I created 6 “Polaroid” photos. I made them with 3 layers of white cardstock to add dimension. Next, I decorated them and captured in them what I am like, what I am passionate about and what identifies me: happiness, friendship, love, family, photography and scrapbooking.
This is me! These are the projects that I am passionate about and working with Magical Forest is really simple. The collection is adorable! Here is a video you can watch too to learn how to make your own!
I hope you like my idea! It is a great pleasure to be here and to be able to show you everything I have in mind.
Wow Laura!! It's beautiful 🤩🤩🤩🤩
