Hi Ladies! It’s Flóra back today on the Crate Paper blog. Today I am sharing a tiny, easy and fast mini album idea. This cute project was made with the new Maggie Holmes Sweet Story line. I just love the cheerful colors and patterns, it is perfect to document your favorite photos. Every Crate Paper collection has a cut apart paper which usually includes tags on the bottom. These tags are perfect to make an accordion or a one ring mini book. Check how!
I cut out the tags from Sweet Treat Paper and fold them on the edge. I punched holes on the tag tops. I found more awesome tags in the Ephemera pack and I picked one for the cover. I just trimmed a tiny bit and adhered to the tag chain. Now the fun part started. I printed photos and place them in and decorate the tags one by one. The front got a bow, eyelet, chipboard and cardstock flowers and a gorgeous layered butterfly.
I made every page different. Some got an extra tag page decorated with eyelet, fussy cut bow (from Ponytail paper) and washi phrases. Another was embellished with stitched mini butterflies fussy cut from Storytime Paper.
I created a cute washi flag with the amazing washi tape set. I folded small pieces and stitched them down on the side. When you close the album the washi tape pieces are peeking out. Love it so much! On the last page I added colorful banners which I also stitched down. I like to use machine stitches on every other page just to give extra texture.
These tiny albums are my favorites. I like to spend the time decorating the mini pages with small stickers and embellishments and of course highlight my favorite photos. So that was it for today! I hope you like my accordion tag album idea and you will try it out! Flóra

While there is a link to this fun project - please provide dimensions of the tags, as well as measurements for scoring to make it accordion style. Thank you

The photos are cute, but without the instructions to make the product, the post is worth nothing.

Flora indicated in her intro: "Every Crate Paper collection has a cut apart paper which usually includes tags on the bottom. These tags are perfect to make an accordion or a one ring mini book." I'm hunting through my paper stash for a Crate Paper collection to CASE her fabulous sharing. Mahalo for this EZPZ oh-so-cute idea.

Hi Ladies! Thanks for you comments. The album doesn't need any tutorial as I only trimmed down the tag part of Sweet Treat Paper as you can see it in the first photo. I scored the tags on their edge. The extra tag is attached with washi tape. But all of these are written in the post as well. :) It's super easy, you just need the tag papers from any Crate Paper collection.
