Hello and welcome to the Crate Paper Blog today. It’s me Sandra and I would like to inspire you to create a special gift to someone you love and really care about. Something to protect and guide them throughout the New Year 2020. And here is my idea: guardian angels in a box.
My mom inspired me to create personal guardian angels. For my birthday, she gave me the sweetest guardian angel made of metal. I keep this angel in my handbag all the time. I’m so thankful for it! And I thought, why not make guardian angels from paper and put them into a box?! This is a nice gift to start off the year 2020.
I made three boxes with patterned papers from different Crate Paper Collections. And I decorated the boxes with embellishments, stickers, and flowers.
Inside the box, there is a very personal guardian angel for 2020. I cut the angels from patterned papers with a cut file and my cutting machine. Tip: You can create an airy and dreamy feel by adding wings that are cut from transparent paper.
Decorate the boxes with your favorite embellishments from Crate Paper. You can’t go wrong with stickers, paper flowers, chipboard stickers, and some lace. Just add pretty things. Things that you love and that look lovely together.
I put the guardian angels onto a sheet of patterned paper and added some delicate sequins. Furthermore, I cut the sentiment ‘guard’ from white cardstock. I’m sure your family and friends will LOVE this very special gift!
