To make your own, all you need is a headband, thin wire, a hot glue gun, the Blissful paper from the Sunny Days collection. After fussy cutting the butterflies out of the paper, glue them to the thin wire. Then, wrap the wire around the headband in your preferred form. This cute headband can be made in less than 15 minutes and is such a cute Halloween costume!
Woodland Animal Headband
We are a little obsessed with this cute woodland animal costume and surprised at how easy it was to make! Put this one with a tan, brown, or orange outfit and a little face paint and you are good to go!
To make this headband, you will need a headband (brown or tan preferred), a hot glue gun, orange cardstock, and the Childhood paper and paper flowers and leaves from the Heritage collection. Once you have cute out the rounded triangle shapes for the cute little ears, layer them and glue to the headband. Once the glue is dry, glue the flowers and leaves at the base of the ears. That's it! This cute costume looks very intricate but it is so easy! Give it a try!
Mommy & Me Halloween Bows
If you are someone that doesn't want to wear a costume but still wants to show their Halloween spirit, this project is for you. And if you'd like, you can make a little miniature version to twin with your little too!
To make this these cute bows, you will need glue, an electronic cutting machine, bow cut-file, and the chipboard stickers, Fright Night paper, and Happy Haunting paper from the Hey Pumpkin collection. If you don't have an electronic cutting machine, you can cut out your own bow shapes and glue them together by cutting out a template. Either way, layer the two paper bows and glue. Once dry, place the chipboard sticker in the middle and the you're done! You can add it to your hair or pin it as an accessory to a tote or bag. There are so many cute options!
Hopefully these ideas have given you a little inspiration for a last-minute Halloween costume. And, don't forget about the Crate Paper Costume Contest! All submission are due 10/31/19 at midnight. Good luck!
