Hello, CP friends. Enza here to share a 3D project with the gorgeous Heritage collection. I love pretty packaging, especially when it’s handmade. I could spend hours making boxes and gift bags and adding layers and layers of different shapes, stickers, embellishments to them. The colors and patterns in this collection are so pretty and allow for pretty combinations.
Both of my boxes were created with cut files, but there are many easy templates on line that would work as well. You could also just use pre-made packaging and decorate it with your favorite papers.
For my first box, I chose a petal design, with four flaps that fold onto each other.
The “Allie” patterned paper is super pretty and perfect for this romantic box. I used dies from my stash to cut out leaves and flowers from several papers in colors that reminded me of fall. I adhered each layer with hot glue, making sure to keep all the embellishments on the top flap. For the flowers, after layering them, I punched a whole in the middle and used roses from the Heritage Embellishments pack to hold them together. A puffy sticker sentiment completed the design.
The second packaging idea is a pillow box.
Before assembling the box, I trimmed a strip of paper to go around it and added twine for a rustic look. I used the same dies to cut the leaves, alternating colors and shapes to create interest and dimension.
This time I decided to use a layered butterfly instead of flowers for the center of my cluster. Tip: bend the wings gently inwards for a more realistic look. I finished decorating the box with a sweet sentiment.
Thank you for stopping by. Do you like creating pretty paper packaging with your scrapbook collections? I love it!
