So, I’m a bit late to the game when it comes to traveler’s journal because I just barely got my first one from the Crate Paper Journal Studio collection – and I’m over the moon! It is so beautiful!
I’m super excited about it because I’ve always loved the thought of being able to scrapbook literally anywhere. It’s just not always practical to pack up all your scrapbook supplies and lug it with you everywhere to create full layouts and mini albums. Those kinds of projects usually take more time and when you’re traveling or on vacation, you often don’t have that same kind of scrapbooking time, or space!

This is where the beauty of a traveler’s journal comes in! It’s small and compact, so it’s made for simple on-the-go scrapbooking to capture those special travel moments. That being said, it’s also ideal to have simple on-the-go accessories to make scrapbooking quick and easy.
And what could be more perfect for this than the new Crate Paper Sticker Books!? They’re a dream come true for any kind of scrapbooking, but especially for traveler’s journals because they’re collected in one compact booklet. This way, you don’t need to carry a whole bunch of different items with you when you travel and want to scrapbook. All you need is Journal Studio, a sticker book, and maybe a few other small essential items.

Now, I don’t have any big travel plans coming up until the winter, but I’m not letting that stop me from using this journal and sticker book combo! I’m a full time Registered Nurse by day so I’m pretty busy during the week. I usually get to scrapbook to my heart’s desire on the weekends only, although I do try to get some scrapbook time in during the week days as well. However, between work, house chores, making dinner, exercise, television shows, and bedtime, there’s usually not as much time for scrapbooking as I would like.
That’s why I’m so excited about using my journal and sticker book! It makes scrapbooking so easy and quick for those moments when you have a short period to squeeze in some much needed scrapbook therapy.

For the starting spreads in my journal, I decided to try and keep things pretty simple and easy. I grabbed my sticker book and also printed out the free Crate Paper All Heart journal cards, which you can find for free here on the Crate Paper Blog! These are also perfect to quick, but meaningful scrapbooking because you can keep them all together tucked into your journal pocket until you’re ready to use them. And they each have a fun prompt for you to fill out!
I chose a couple of the journal cards to fill out, which will be really fun to look back on in the future so I can see where my heart was in that particular moment. I then began embellishing my pages with the beautiful stickers in the sticker book.

This was probably the most fun because there are so many different kind of stickers! There’s even stickers that you can put in a daily life planner if you use one – I sure do. Things like hearts, banners, tabs, phrases, pineapples, sunglasses, campers, and other fun icons adorn this sticker book so there are endless ways to get creative with your journal spreads.
You can use these stickers in so many ways and for so many different things. The versatility and the compactness is just incredible. So perfect for quick and easy scrapbooking no matter where you are – at home, on-the-go, traveling, etc. I found it so refreshing and fun using the sticker book in my new journal, and I hope you feel inspired to get your own set for when you need to indulge in some sweet and simple scrapbooking magic.
