Hi and welcome to the Crate Paper Blog. It's me, Sandra from the Crate Paper Design Team. Today I'm sharing three handmade cards with Maggie Holmes' new collection Heritage. The special thing about these cards is that I mostly used embellishments that I fussy-cut from patterned papers that come with this collection. Let's have a look at the cards in more detail:
How to 'Life is lovely' card:
First, grab the paper 'Handwritten' from Heritage. Cut a 6x8" piece of paper and fold it to make the card base.
Second, cover the card with a smaller piece of transparent paper. Cut the title 'Life is lovely' from the 'Handwritten' paper. Adhere the title onto the transparent paper. Third, fussy-cut embellishments from the 'Decades' paper with your scissors. This paper has a variety of elements that are great for fussy-cutting. Envelopes, books, and flowers can be used as decorative elements for your cards.
How to 'Love this life' card:
First, grab a card base from the postcard set that comes with the Heritage collection. Second, adhere a smaller piece of transparent paper onto the card base.
Third, fussy-cut embellishments (camera, shoes, books, shirt) from the 'Decades' paper with your scissors and glue them onto the card with foam pads.
How to 'Amazing' card with stamped title:
First, grab a card base from the postcard set that comes with Heritage. Add a strip of paper and two tags onto the card base. Second, cut the frame tag from the 'Recollection' paper with your scissors. Third, grab the stamp and die set from Heritage. And stamp the sentiment 'I want you to know how amazing you are' onto the frame tag with black ink. Glue the title tag onto the card. Finally, decorate your card with fussy-cut embellishments and a glittery butterfly from Heritage.
And now enjoy your cards and be proud of what you have created :).
Last but not least, I hope you like my card inspiration with the new Heritage Collection.
Have fun creating today!
Yours, Sandra
