Mother's Day Layout with Lorilei

Hello Crate Paper friends! Lorilei here today sharing a layout featuring the Sunny Days Project Pad from Joann. Mother's Day will be here soon, and it is the perfect time to scrap about yourself, your family, your Mom or any Mom!

The Sunny Days Project Pad by Maggie Holmes is so bright and cheerful and perfect for Mother's Day, and I couldn't wait to make my layout! I started by fussy cutting the pink rose paper, I knew I wanted a spray of florals on the page, and this paper is one of my favorites!

Next, I used the solid light pink paper, the glittery gold paper and two of the patterned papers from the 6x8 Sunny Days Paper Pad to create a layered butterfly. I love that the Sunny Days Project Pad includes solid cardstock and glitter cardstock. Everything you need is in one spot! I layered the butterfly and added machine stitching to the center so that I could pop up the wings for dimension. I added a heart sticker on a foam dot to the center for an added detail. I snipped the gold floral spray from the Embossed Die cut sheet to add in with my fussy cut flowers.

The full page of stickers included in the Sunny Days Project Pad is a great resource for layouts. I added the cute You + Me sticker just under my photo; I didn't press the sticker down all the way so that the edges curl up a bit and add some dimension.

One of the papers in the pad is full of numbers; many have gold foil on them as well. I thought it would make a great title to use the numbers to represent the years of being Hannah's Mom! I added foam to the back of the five so that it would layer over the one card and again add dimension! I added another sticker sentiment and typed the words - years of onto a label so that my whole title would read " 15 years of You + Me!

To finish off my layout, I added the embossed gold bird to the top of the floral spray, popped up the pink camera sticker on foam and added an embossed gold heart to the camera. My last touches were a transparent sticker at the bottom and some tiny pink jewels! I love how the layout turned out; it always amazes me, how much bang for your buck you get with fussy cutting and Crate Paper florals!
