Hello there, crafty friends. Enza here, and today I'm excited to share a new mini album with you. This mini was created with products that are part of the Designer Destination program JOANN stores just started. They are now carrying items from both Flourish and Sunny Days collections, along with new Project Pads that include stickers, some papers from the collections, and coordinating cardstock. So amazing!
I decided to make a pocket tag mini album using both collections, which coordinate very well in terms of colors.
I started by choosing the basic cardstock I wanted to use for the tags. They measure 3.5”x6”. Next, I trimmed the pockets from a variety of patterned paper; here the measurements are 3.5”x 3”.
After adhering a strip of washi tape to the top of the pockets, I machine-stitched them in place. I also used one of the glitter papers included in the Flourish Project Pad to make the hole reinforcers.
I mixed several ephemera pieces to fill the pockets and decorate the tags. I layered embellishments from both collections to frame my photos and added die cuts, fussy cut elements and dimensional pieces. As I mentioned above, the Project Pads come with stickers; I adhered the ones I chose to white cardstock and fussy cut around them, as I wanted to have the flexibility to move them around.
I trimmed the cut-apart sheet included in the Flourish Project Pad and used many elements throughout the mini album. To finish, I added ribbon in coordinating colors and more die cuts in between the tags.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my process and feel inspired to create with these gorgeous Crate Paper products. Don't forget to check out JOANN for more amazing finds!
