Hi! It's me, Sandra. Since it's the start of the year, many crafters are trying to get organized after the holidays. To jot down important dates and deadlines for the coming year 2019, I created a to-do planner album. I've used this type of handmade planner for the past two years. And I just love that it's handmade and simple.
Basically, the album consists of a cover page, 12 calendar pages (one chart for each month), and a paper for the back.
A great and simple way to make the album is to use the Book Binding Guide from We R Memory Keepers. This is a very handy tool to bind albums with different types of Japanese coptic book binding. All you need is the guide, a paper for the cover and calendar pages (either hand-drawn or downloaded from the Internet). And then simply follow the book binding instructions that come with the kit.
How to:
First, download calendar pages from the Internet. Second, gather two of your favorite papers from Crate Paper: one for the cover and one for the back of the album. Third, use the Book Binding Guide to create a fun coptic Japanese mini album. It's so effortless with the book binding guide!
Fourth, add cute stickers on the monthly planner sheets. Done :).
Tip: At the end of the year, I like to look back at what I've accomplished throughout the year. Looking at the single pages of the to-do planner album gives me the feeling that I've done fun and useful things throughout the year.
I hope you like my to-do planner album inspiration with the Hooray Collection. Have fun creating a handmade album for important dates, deadlines, and events in 2019.
Yours, Sandra
