Hello CP friends! Enza here, and today I'm sharing simple and easy Christmas ornaments created with the beautiful Merry Days collection. All the fun bits and pieces included in this collection are perfect for any type of holiday projects; you don't need much more to give your décor a festive look.
Let's start with the star-shaped ornaments! I die cut several stitched stars in different sizes from both patterned paper and craft foam; I like that the foam gives dimension without being too bulky, so you can easily layer it in between each star and still have a nice sized piece. This process goes pretty quickly, allowing to create lots of ornaments in no time!
I then glued the super cute fabric buttons on top of the glitter hanging stars that come in the collection, tied a bow on top, and placed them in the center of the ornaments.
The red and white twine I used here is from the Tag Kit, which is one of my favorites this year.
The second set of ornaments features a circular design. Here again I die cut the scalloped circles from patterned paper, and I also created rosettes in a smaller size to adhere on top.
The rosettes gave the ornaments enough dimension, so I didn't have to use foam in between the layers. For the top, I went with the adorable Shaker Stickers, but also tags and die cut pieces.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! If you're looking for a quick and easy project, this one is for you. Shaped ornaments are perfect to decorate your tree or to use as gifts for neighbors, teachers, and friends! Gift tags would be another option, don't you think?
Until next time!
