Hi Girls! It’s Flóra here. For today’s post I made some cute boxes what can be a nice handmade gift for your loved ones during the holiday season. You can cheer up the tableware with them. If you add the name of your guest on the box, they can replace place cards. You can fill up the boxes with sweets or other small gifts. I promise your loved ones will adore them.
I picked three different patterned papers called Twelve Days, Cheer and Peace. I download a star box cut file and cut the shape out using my cutting machine. I carefully fold the box and assembled using adhesive tape. After the boxes were done, I selected ephemera pieces and stickers for decoration.
On the top of each box I created small embellishment clusters. I tried to us different types just to have more texture. I find important to use foam tape between the layers to create dimension, else the embellishing would be too flat what doesn’t look attractive.
Beside the boxes I also made place cards and napkin rings. For the cards I added sentiment from waterfall sticker sheet, a cute fabric button and my guest name using thickers. For the napking ring I used a simple paper strip what I fixed with a stapler and adhered a shaker sticker in the middle. I love how the whole table coordinates and it’s so easy to make something like this with Crate Paper Merry Days collection.
That was it for today! Thanks for stopping by here! I hope you will make something similar for your holiday table setting. Don’t forget to share it with us on social media!
