Hi, Ladies! Are you ready for 2019? By the end of the year, I always start to think about what I want to do the same or different next year. Set new goals and summaries them on a layout is a good remainder during the year.
This time, I decided to use the incredibly pretty Hooray collection for my layout. The bright colors with the Holographic elements are perfect for a fun New Year project. My idea was to create a colorful background with a bunch of stars all around. To do that, I cut a background star design from white card stock and then backed the open spaces with different pattern papers. I loved to see how the different patterns worked perfectly together and the colors popped!
To add a little sparkle, I placed glittered star sticker into the center of each star. Then, I trimmed a 3x4” card from patterned paper and adhered it with my photo to the center of the layout. I created the title mixing and matching alphabet stickers and stickers from the Journal Studio sticker book.
I added a lot of embellishments to the bottom of the photo. Mixing chipboard pieces, puffy stickers and stickers gives a lot of interest to the layout! And how cute is that llama with the party hat?!?
To add my journaling, I wrote my ‘New Year goals’ on tags, and placed them behind the pink patterned paper with the title. I dropped black watercolor mist over the top and the bottom to finish.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope this layout has inspired you to pick up the Hooray collection and make a colorful page to celebrate the upcoming 2019 year! Wishing you lots of amazing goals, dreams, and crafty time for the New Year!!

Hello! Lorilei here today in the final days of 2018! I have a easy to make home decor project that will ring in the New Year with an enthusiastic outlook! I have had the best year creating with Crate Paper and feel so lucky each and every day! My scrappy sign uses alphabets from all the Crate Paper collections I have used in 2018 which is a fun reflection on the year for me! It is a great way to use up some alphabet stash too!!
I started out with a heavy piece of white cardstock and trimmed it down to 11x11 and then added a sheet of 12x12 paper from Wild Heart behind it. Who doesn't need some animal print in their creative space? I gathered my chipboard and foam Thickers from Good Vibes, Wild Heart, Flourish and Willow Lane. I also included the gorgeous glittery copper foam word Thickers from Wild Heart.
The first item I place on the sign was the Memories glitter foam. I used my t-square ruler for each line of "text" so that it would be straight! This gave me the spacing for every other line so that I could create a centered sign. The first line uses Willow Lane alphas, Line 2 - Wild Heart, Line 3 - Flourish + Willow Lane, Line 4 - Willow Lane + Good Vibes, Line 5 - Wild Heart, Line 6 - Willow Lane. At the bottom of the quote, I added the tassel banner chipboard from Good Vibes!
For finishing touches, I added a rosette Stand Out from Wild Heart, black epoxy stars from Good Vibes, copper glitter stars from Wild Heart and puffy gold stars from the Willow Lane Decorative Trim. This little sign makes me happy and is a great reminder that no matter what we go through in a year, there are new possibilities every day for new memories, new lessons in life, new vibes to experience and new moments to document and cherish.
I wish you the very best that 2019 has to offer each and every day.

Hi! It's me, Sandra. Christmas is just around the corner. And today I'm sharing a fun last minute Christmas decor inspiration. I used the wonderful Merry Days Collection to create a bunch of cute decorative houses.
The houses can be used for decorating the Christmas dinner table. In addition, they also make perfect little gifts. The houses are attached to match boxes. Thus, they can hold handwritten notes and little gifts. The houses are the perfect addition to larger gifts.
I used a metal die to cut the houses from different sheets of patterned paper. Next, I added puffy stickers and cardstock stickers from Merry Days to make the houses look even cuter.
TIP: If you haven't got a metal die at hand, please enter 'house template' into an online search machine. Then use one of the templates from the search results shown under 'pictures' to cut your houses from patterned paper.
Last but not least, I attached the houses onto white paper match boxes with double-sided tape.
The match boxes under the houses are perfect for holding notes, sweets and little gifts. And here are some more photos of the boxes:
I hope you like my Christmas decor inspiration with Merry Days. Have fun using the Merry Days Collection to create some unique and special Christmas decor projects.
Yours, Sandra

Hello there crafty friends! Enza here to share a mini album featuring the gorgeous Merry Days collection. My goal for this mini was to document our traditions and most memorable moments from last December; I picked a few of my favorite photos and went to town with all the pretty papers and embellishments.
I opted for a ring mini album, as I wanted to have the flexibility to add to it if I wanted to. I also love the clean straight edges and the size of it, measuring 4.25x6 inches. One thing that the pages have in common is the stitching details – this simple step brings so much texture and interest to the album!
Here are the main supplies I used:
I created three pockets to hold memorabilia, hidden journaling, or more photos. I simply trimmed the paper to measure 7x6 inches and folded one side over, making sure to leave enough space to add a scalloped edge and a few other embellishments. Again, the top and bottom portion of the pockets were stitched in place.
Layering is always a favorite when it comes to decorating my pages. I try to combine different textures and dimensional elements, such as die cuts, chipboard stickers, and puffy stickers; the super cute fabric buttons are so fun and perfect to add a special and unexpected touch – they scream Christmas to me with their vintage, homemade feel.
The paper clips in this collection are also a must have – beautiful colors and cute shapes are always a win in my book. I used them to secure extra papers and photos within the pockets.
Thank you so much for joining me today! I had a lot of fun putting this December mini album together, and hope you feel inspired to create one of your own! Happy crafting!

Hello everyone! I'm so excited to share with you this layout I created with Merry Days collection. There are tons of beautiful Christmas element & what I love most are the awesome illustrations and all the bright colours! Just so many possibilities with this collection. I would certainly use them for my upcoming winter vacation too. Another exciting project for me :)
When I was assigned to scrap about Christmas tradition, I was really thinking about it. To be honest, we don't really have any super special Christmas traditions besides having a warm dinner the night before Christmas. We would gather around, have a good meal and the kids will proceed on to opening their Christmas gifts right after. They sure look forward for this each year. Though these are simple traditions in our family but that sure brought joy to everyone.
To create this layout, it is pretty easy. It got to do with lots of layering all around the photo. I just layered alot of fun chipboard stickers together, with the intention to create a Christmas scenery. I loved how it turned out!
To add more texture to the layout, I added some paper crepe ruffles at the corners. It is simple but yet it gave a very delicate look to the bright red background paper beneath. Just by adding the paper doilies it also contributed the overall classy look to the layout.
I hope you enjoyed the Christmas layout that I created. Wishing you a joyous and beautiful Christmas as you celebrate with your loved ones! Merry Christmas from my family to yours :)
Xoxo Jessy

Hi Ladies! It’s Flóra back today on the Crate Paper blog. Today I will share with you two festive card I made with the wonderful Merry Days collection. I love this line so much! It’s filled up with amazing patterned papers, awesome designs, pretty embellishments and cute stickers. It was really hard to decide what to use. In the end, I picked two pinkish paper: Tinsel and Sugar Plums.
First, I trimmed A2 size paper piece from the chosen patterned papers and used them as my base. I had so much fun while I went through all the cute products and select some for my first card. In the background I added a lovely house and Christmas tree from Tag Kit packs. I cut away the tab for hanging and turn them into simple die cuts. Over the tree I placed a Chipboard Sticker girl. I also added golden Joyous Thickers many places. Love the puffy effect. My ultimate favorite is the glitter star what I added in the middle of the gold wreath. To finish off this card I adhered the title: Noel and under it a sentiment sticker.
For the second card I added two pretty houses from Ephemera and Tag Kit packs. Over added a golden puffy tree and a car Die Cut. The card had tiny parcels in the top but I added one more puffy box sticker. I really wanted to add a pine tree, too so cut a whole on the car’s window and placed in the tree just like it would peek out from the car. Over the houses I added the title Warm holiday wishes using Joyous Thickers and cardstock stickers.
It was so much fun to make these cards. I can’t wait to send them to my crafty friends and also to make more and more pretty cards with Crate Paper Merry Days. I hope my cards will inspire you to make some as well. Thanks for stopping by here today!

Hi! It's me, Sandra. Did you know that the Merry Days Collection has a darling Gift Wrap kit?! You can use that to wrap and embellish your gifts. You can create your own cute tags and try out new creative ways to wrap your gifts. You can even embellish cards from the kit. Are you curious to find out how I wrapped some of my Christmas presents? If yes, keep on reading :). I'm sharing some Xmas gift-wrapping inspiration with the Gift Wrap Kit today.
How to:
First, use papers from the Gift Wrap Kit to wrap your presents. Second, tie ribbons from the Tag Kit around the present.
Third, add cute decorative elements onto your presents: stickers, gift tags, gold-glitter stars, and die-cut houses.
Tips:
Combine papers and tags from the Gift Wrap Kit with other fun accessories from the Merry Days Collection to wrap your gifts. The Tag Kit comes with ribbons and there is also a Hanging Star package with pretty gold-glitter stars and golden ribbon.
The Waterfall Stickers set comes with a number of great adhesive stickers saying 'Merry Christmas' or 'A gift for you'. I LOVE these stickers. They come in different colors. And they can be easily attached to gifts, cards and tags.
To hold the tags and embellishments in place, you can attach them onto the papers with foam pads.
You can also add little cards using similar papers and embellishments. I made cards out of Merry Days and added the same little die-cut bags as I did with the gift wrap. Having coordinating cards and gifts is a little detail that goes a long way!
I hope you like my Christmas gift-wrapping inspiration with the Merry Days Gift Wrap Kit. Have fun wrapping your gifts this year with the wonderful and special patterned papers and embellishments from Crate Paper.
Yours, Sandra

Hello everyone! Its Bea here today, and I’m sharing some fun gift wrapping ideas using the beautiful Merry Days collection. Creating pretty packaging has always been a favorite craft time for me in December! I believe adding handmade touches to any present makes it even more special.
Due to Merry Days collection has gift wrap papers and tags, it’s pretty easy to create fancy packaging for the presents! I always start my process by gathering all the supplies I need. Wrapping papers, ribbons, washi tapes, ephemera pieces, stickers, pom-pom maker and more…
My packaging process was mostly the same for each boxes, I just changed the color scheme or the materials. Ones I had everything I needed, I covered the presents with wrapping paper and tied around with ribbon, raffia or thread.
I then created tags to go with them. For the pink wrapping paper I chose dark green patterned paper with touches of red. I cut a banner, and layered cardstock sticker with red sticker label on the top. The white pom-pom is a cute addition on the design, and it can be used as an ornament after opening the gift.
For the next package, I went with red patterned paper against the blue wrapping paper. The red car tag is just too cute, I added it to the top of the layered red banner. The fussy cut branch was the perfect finishing touch.
I have one more packaging idea for you today! Around this time of the year, I love to surprise my colleagues, teachers etc. with handmade presents too. This year, I decided to give these cute little house boxes filled with handmade chocolate, and I hope they will like them!
These boxes are very easy and fast to assemble. They opening on the top, and the best thing is when the chocolate was gone, the little house becomes a cute Christmas ornament!
Here is the template of the gift box.
All you need to do is download and print out the template, cut around the shapes and draw around on patterned paper. Next step is folding the edges and adhere the parts with double sided tape. Visit Crate Paper Instagram Stories to see the full tutorial.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you felt inspired by these simple and easy packaging ideas and will give it a try!

Hello Crate Paper friends! Lorilei here today bringing you some Merry inspiration for gift wrapping! The Merry collection by Crate Paper makes gift wrapping a breeze, having the co-ordinating Gift Wrap Book, Tag Set and Card Set mixed in with the Merry scrapbooking supplies gives you so many possibilities to wrap a truly special gift!
I started by choosing a gift to wrap for my husband and my daughter. It is so much fun to receive a gift that someone has put so much thought and effort into wrapping. The first package is wrapped with the falala paper, so that gives me a wonderful neutral base! I decided to string items on the gorgeous thick red and white string found in the tag set. I chose the Santa card to be the focal point of my gift topper.
I added the tree, merry & bright tag and Santa face to the string. I left room for my card to be clipped onto the string and also some space for the gorgeous glittery gold stars. I added a white doily behind my card and clipped it to the string with the super cute star epoxy paper clip. I love that the card is part of the decorating! One tip I wanted to share with you is that I narrowed down my choices when it came to deciding what to use, Merry Days has so much to choose from and if your anything like me you want to add it all! For my hubby, for example, I chose Santa, and then I only chose items that "fit" in with Santa, like the tree and the colors on the Merry & Bright tag. It gave me a unified look and made it quick and easy!
For my daughter's gift I chose the pink holly paper (my favorite), and for the card, I selected the goose, the pop of red with the pink holly paper makes a lovely statement! As I was going through the Tag Set and the die cuts I found the pink house with the red door and knew it was the perfect fit for the package. Doilies and gold stars add a bit of softness and sparkle to the gift!
I hope you have a lovely day, Thanks so much for stopping by!
