Hello CP fans! Enza here, and today I am sharing a tag mini album that is bursting with fussy-cut elements. Fussy-cutting to me is relaxing and fun, especially when I get to work with gorgeous florals and patterns like the ones in the Flourish collection. I like to have the ability to change a design and make it my own by combining different patterns and colors, and that is definitely the magic of fussy-cutting.
My mini today is all about capturing everyday moments: a smile, a pensive face, a sweet expression. This type of pictures are the ones I enjoy the most, especially when it comes to my kids, as they truly represent their personalities.
I started by choosing some of the tags that come in the Flourish Ephemera Pack, and used them as a template to cut more of the same shapes in different sizes. Next, I fussy-cut all the elements I wanted to use: flowers, tickets, most of the cut-apart sheet, butterflies and more. Each tag has layers and layers of goodness on it ;)
Here's side A:
And side B:
I tried to personalize each tag as much as possible. You will see some hand-stitching, used to make a sentiment stand out more or just as a decorative element.
I also love wrapping twine around my photos, or use cut files that coordinate with the main patterns to add that little extra “something” throughout the album. Most of the times, I tend to back cut files with patterned paper, but I decided to keep them simple here to balance off the colorful tags.
The rest is just a mixture of stickers, chipboard, ephemera, all layered to achieve dimension and texture.
I had a lot of fun putting this tag album together. Fussy-cutting is the perfect technique if you are looking to use patterns and colors in a unique way.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a lovely day!

Sweet baby Jesus! This is sooooo pretty. I'm telling you the paper speaks for itself but the layering and all that you've done is absolutely stunning. Pray for me....I'm going to have a hard time cutting into my collection!
