I have always love to include small photos on my projects. They are not only cute but they are perfect size for mini albums too. This time round, I chose to create a mini album of our traveling adventure to Osaka, Japan by featuring the latest travel collection called Here + There.
Since this is a mini album about my travels to Japan, I had so much picking photos of places that we have visited. During the process, it brought back a lot of great memories. Once the photos are done choosing, I went through the collection to search for patterned papers and embellishments that I can use for layering. And I also decided to use patterned papers as my base.
I wanted to keep the first page simple and more of a cover page. To give a little flavour to my cover page, I added that super cute tassel.
On each page you will see chipboard, ephemera, stickers & lots of fun patterned papers. I used them repeatedly on each page to create a cohesive look.
For this album, I kept the embellishments minimal too.
The washi tapes that I adhered on the left side of this page sure gave the fun texture that I was going for!
The best thing about a ring-bound book is that you can continue to add pages as you go along!
I absolutely love the idea of using the kraft cardstock as my photo base. That sure provided the contrast look on each page.
By inking the edges of each page sure gave the crisp look to the album!
I had so much fun making these pages. I hope you will have fun making yours too!
