I love to fussy cut! I find it very relaxing and if I don’t keep track of time I can fussy cut for hours! The Good Vibes collection has so many great opportunities for fussy cutting! I cut almost all of the Flourish paper, the leaves and sprigs are so perfect for tucking here and there in clusters! The florals in the All Good paper are also fairly easy to fussy cut and you end up with a nice stockpile of florals to use.
For the High Five card I stamped the base of the card with the You Rock stamp in a messy pattern, I would stamp with full ink and then move the stamp around for a ghost effect. I layered the cork badge with the chipboard High Five badge and used the pretty pink fussy cut flowers and leaves as a layer in between the badge and the kraft tag.
I really love to have dimension between my layers and I use foam dots to both adhere the layers and lift them!
For my Love You Tons card I started out with a white card and added a rectangle of paper from the Serious Fun paper. I love that it has ink drops already on it for a mixed media feel without the mess! I used one of the cute cacti from the ephemera pack and the Love You Tons piece as the focal point of the card and added sprigs and leaves. The black leaves really make the teal and pink pop!
When I fussy cut items from papers I usually try to either have a small border (I left a white border on the black leaves) or I will fussy cut just inside the edge of an item to get a nice clean die cut look (the pink flower is a great example of this) It is always great to have a plan of how you will fussy cut before you start snipping!
