Christmas markets are really great. I really enjoy the lights, the delicious food, the tempting smell of sweets and candies. And I also like to watch people enjoying their rides on merry-go-rounds. Today's layout that I created with the wonderful FaLaLa Christmas Collection features a black-and-white snapshot of a merry-go-round from a Christmas market in Berlin, Germany.
FaLaLa has a lot of cute embellishments you can use to make special Xmas projects. I can't decide which embellishments I like most. I guess I just love them all. However, the white paper snowflakes and the tassels are two of my faves from this collection. I used them in combination with different papers, stickers, one of the deer paper clips and some ephemera pieces on today's layout.
For the background I used the Snowflakes paper, which looks wonderful in combination with the green, red and white papers from FaLaLa. I cut strips of different papers and arranged them in a cluster in the center of the layout together with the black-and-white photo.
Then I added different embellishments to create an Xmasy scene. I also made a cluster on the upper left side of the layout and folded the corner on the upper right side - a nice little detail that makes the layout look more interesting.
