For me, cardmaking is like going on an adventure. You've got a certain plan in your head, but you don't know how everything will turn out. I usually gather different papers and embellishments on my table and select the items that fit together, because they've got matching colors, patterns or symbols or they are just perfect for what I want to say with my card. Today I want to share three new cards with the Chasing Dreams Collection from Maggie Holmes.
On the first card, I created a stack of different layers in matching colors. I used foam pads between the layers to give the card dimension.
For the second card, I combined the colors blue, gold and rosé and added a doily between the layers. I really like this color combination.
On the third card, I combined two different patterned papers of the same color scheme with gold and a matching floral chipboard sticker.
What is your cardmaking process like? Do you go by colors, patterns or just by the occasion the card is for? Thanks for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day.
