Women love and deserve flowers. Mother’s Day is a special day to show gratitude and to give love and flowers to our moms. I would like to share some Mother’s Day’s ideas with you today, some wonderful things you can create with the beautiful patterned papers and ephemera die-cuts from the Chasing Dreams and Oasis collections. I want to start with an embossed ‘hello’ card to which I added flowers that I cut from the Oasis ‘Get Away’ patterned paper.
I took the photos of the card while we were staying at my son’s great-grandmother’s house. They’ve got a garage filled with wonderful old things like the cool black typewriter and the old workbench you can see in the photo above and below.
Next up you can see some more papercrafting ideas for Mother’s Day: a hang tag saying ‘you are the best’, two handmade paper flowers and a cute little shadow box that holds a flower.
The shadow box with the flower and the message ‘you are the best’ can be used as a table or wall decoration piece. I made the box from grey board that I glued together and covered with patterned paper.
All flowers where made with patterned paper, different flower dies and a die-cut machine. You can also cut your own petals and leaves by hand. If you enter ‘flower die’ in your search engine and select ‘images’, a lot of templates which might be of help will be displayed.
I hope you found some inspiration for Mother’s Day. Have a wonderful day.
