'A photo says a thousand words' and journaling helps to remember dates and places and also things that happened at the time a photo was taken. Sometimes I place the journaling on the back of a scrapbook page or just add some short journaling in a free spot on the layout. On today's page, I added a circular journaling around the die-cut doilies. I like how the journaling blends into the page without being too obvious at first sight.
Here is a close-up shot of the journaling. Like a frame around the delicate doilies, it tells more about the photo and where it was taken.
In addition to the journaling, I used different stickers and embellishments to decorate the doilies and created two smaller floral embellishments with different layers and yarn (see photos above).
What kind of journaling do you prefer? It would be fun to hear about your creative journaling techniques. Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great day.

This is beautiful, Sandra! Love the layout and the way you journaled. I would love to know what brand your die cut is for the doilies! They are a great size! Thanks!
