Creative Journaling: Typewriter + Thickers

Hi everyone, I'm very happy to be here with you today! I will present a layout idea with journaling to capture a specific moment, an anecdote or describe a day. I had just put aside this picture which simply shows a beautiful day. Lisa had participated in a street show during a tourist afternoon and I wanted to describe this day and to immortalize this scene. This is one thing I do very little in my daily scrapbooking. I don't take enough time for the journaling.

I don't like my writing but I would always dream of doing pretty journaling by hand. Here I chose to type my text on the computer and cut into a strip of paper. You could also use a typewriter.

I decorated my page mainly on the left side. I chose OASIS paper strips and I wanted to paste small frames in several places. For that I cut out the pretty paper PORTRAIT from the CHASING DREAMS collection. And in each frame I added a small decoration.

Then I placed my photo on a stack of papers. This gives a little volume. I wanted to enter my title in the journaling so I opted for a centered layout with the photo.

I chose to add the title with the pretty golden alphabet by Maggie Holmes. I think it looks great and it gives a nice effect to my page. Finally, I pasted a small garland and chipboard which I never tire of adding everywhere!
