Hi everyone, It's Laetitia, I'm happy to be here today for the first post as members of the 2017 design team. It is a great pleasure to continue the adventure with Crate Paper and to be here on the blog with you ;)
It's my turn to share with you ideas for Valentine's Day cards.
I created a series of 3 cards that will be accompanied by a little bag of sweets. I first cut out 3 cards from smooth, white cardstock measuring 5 x 3.5 with a downward opening. On the first card, I cut out the pretty paper printed with the hearts in the form of a pennant and I sewed a piece of cloth with polka dots a little card "Happy Valentine's Day" and a transparent arrow. I then pasted the flag on the white card and I added 2 little hearts—so cute.
I chose a black and white background to bring out the paper with the cute lips. I added a nice label of the ephemera pack on which I gave a few stitches. And for a final touch I added a lovely gold heart from the CHASING DREAMS collection by Maggie Holmes.
On the last card, I wanted to use a nice heart with fringes. I added white crepe paper that I stitched before the machine. This gives a 3D effect and it's very nice. I hope this gives you ideas;) See you soon!
