Hi everyone, I'm delighted to be here today for a special GIFT GIVING week. It's almost Christmas and it'll be time to exchange gifts! I'm here to share some ideas for packing little things with your pretty scrapbooking materials.
Why not use your scrapbooking supplies to make your homemade gift packaging? I like the idea very much and it makes it possible to highlight the multitude of embellishments that we all have in our offices!
To make these 4 packages, I used pretty printed papers from the BLOOM and GATHER collections. COOL KID would be perfect for a boy or CUTE GIRL for a girl. Not to mention the all-cute LITTLE YOU collection for a baby;)
On this first gift, I glued a gold doily that I covered with pretty GATHER chipboard by Maggie Holmes. I then used twine to add 2 tassels from CUTE GIRL.
On this second gift, I decorated with a die-cut and a wooden embellishment that I found in my Christmas decorations. I added a small glitter bow and wrapped twice to secure the tree.
I also added a small fir tree because I think it is very pretty and it reminds me of Christmas. I decorated with die-cuts and chipboard stickers from GATHER. I think that these small gifts change ordinary packaging and are just too cute. The only bad part? It's hard to open such cute packaging! I hope this inspires you during your gift wrapping sessions! ;)
