Hello CP friends! Today, I would love to share with you cards that I created with the super cute Snow and Cocoa collection. Cards are pretty easy to put together and they are perfect for any occasion just like Christmas! Once you have a 'sketch' in your mind or on paper, the design will come naturally as you put all the elements together.
The cards I put together are pretty similar to each other. Die-cut on the left & title/sentiment in the middle. The only thing I did was to use different elements so the cards look different but still similar in a way. The first card certainly was the initial idea that led me to create the second card.
Let me share with you the creative process on these two Christmas cards in simple steps:
Snowman card:
1. Create a card base using hardtack.
2. Mat the base by layering two patterned papers.
3. Adhere doily and die cut towards the middle.
4. Decorate and adhere the Snowman with phrase & snowflake stickers to complete the card.
Hello Snow card:
1. Create a card base using hardtack.
2. Mat the base by layering patterned paper.
3. Adhere the doily, vellum & ephemera pieces in the middle.
4. Decorate & adhere snowflake stickers to complete the card.
