A Cute Pair of Christmas Cards

Hello and a very Merry Christmas-time to you all...or whatever fabulous Holidays you celebrate! It is Andrea here and today I am sharing with you a couple of fun ideas for cards using the oh so adorable Snow & Cocoa collection! I love that the collection is so versatile & can be used no matter what kind of holiday you are celebrating. You can make a card that is specific to Christmastime or you can make a Happy Holidays or Winter card!

For my first card, I used some of the pink 12x12 patterned paper from the collection and cut it to be my card size. I used one of the decorative cards from the cut-apart sheet in the collection, the one with the cute snowman that says “hello winter”, as the focal point of my card. I layered some pretty papers underneath, like the awesome tribal print in pinks and aquas and yellows.

To decorate my card, I used a big ribbon bow in the same light aqua color that you find in Snow & Cocoa, and I attached that to the top of my card. I also clustered some little embellishments together at the bottom left corner of my card.

For my second card, I folded and cut some of the pretty light aqua patterned paper into a square and I left a bit of overhang when I folded the card so you can see a little bit of the pattern on the inside when the card is closed.

I used the cut-apart “brrr” decorative piece and added some of the pretty gold thickers, spelling out the word “joy” to create the focal part of my card. To complete this central piece, I used three tree stickers from the sticker sheet and lined them in a row and then attached them to my card by sewing them on.

 

For the inside of my card, I used the forest of trees decorative piece from the cut-apart sheet and wrote on top of it the words “Merry Christmas”. Atop this, I used a sticker that says “the wonders of winter” just for a little more color. This card would be perfect to give out to a friend or family who celebrates Christmas.
