Hello and welcome to Embellishment Week here on the Crate Paper blog! Today I am sharing a pocket spread using the new After Dark collection. Let's take a look!
It was so easy to make a spread highlighting embellishments from this collection, because there are so many great ones! Here you can see how I took a few of the pieces from the ephemera pack and clipped them to my photo with an orange paper clip from the collection. You can also see a shot of the glitter Thickers - so cool!
One of my favorite ways to include embellishments in pocket pages is to use stitching. For this pocket, I added some sequins to the pocket, as well as a piece of the wood veneer and ephemera. I simply stitched the pocket closed and shook it a little to distribute the pieces. You can also do this with glitter - super fun!
I also got a chance to use the Minc along with a few of the After Dark Minc embellishments. Here you can see I foiled the spiderweb piece with gold foil and added it to my photo along with a wood veneer spider.
Here you can see how I used the Minc to add purple foil to one of the embellishment pieces. Such a great addition to the card!
And here's the whole spread. I just love how it turned out! I can't wait to use this collection to scrap my Halloween photos from this year.
Have a great day!

I haven't been having the best results with my minc, so I have been reluctant to buy any more 'minc-able' items (that's a word, right? Lol). After seeing these adorable after dark 'minc-ables' I think I will have to pick some up! So cute!
