We are still premiering September's 'Trending Now' theme - Metallic Gold. Today's presentation includes a glitter splatter technique and handmade Notes & Things card from CP Gal, Wida Miller.
.......
Hello Everybody! It's Wida Miller with you today to show you 'step-by-step' how to make a card using my favorite metallic hue --> GOLD and also, my favorite technique, GLITTER SPLATTER.
Step 2: Gather your favorite little embellishments (stickers, wood veneers, patterned paper in the shape of a banner, label stickers etc). These pretties came from the Notes & Things Collection.
Step 3: Pick a few of them to arrange on your card until you are happy (remember to vary the shape and length of the various embellishments). I like to grab a photo so that I remember how to arrange them at a later time, after assembly.
Step 4: Punch a hole at the top of each embellishment and string them onto the twine. I allowed the twine to naturally 'drape' across the card, but you could tie a bow, or a knot.
The great thing about this embellishment set-up is that it compliments an already 'gorgeous' background. Also, it shows that with just a few, minimal supplies, you can get a sweet generic card to be used for any occasion!
Ever so pretty!
