You are going to love today's Stationery Style ensemble from CP Gal, Ashley Cannon Newell. It's especially fabulous for the avid summer traveler who is looking for the perfect method to preserve vacation memories as they happen—whether on the road or next to the pool!
.......
With summer fast approaching, vacations are starting soon! With the Open Road collection, you can be sure to document your vacations and summer travels in style. I've created a stationery ensemble for you to surprise another with a summer day trip. How fun, right?!
I made a card with a coordinating envelope, which announces the big day trip surprise. Next, I made a mini file folder to hold any tickets and hotel keys for the trip. I also made a notebook, which can be used to document trip events or just a place to jot down notes.
On the card, I used chipboard die cuts and alpha stickers to create the greeting.
For the envelope, I used cardstock stickers to replicate a real envelope. In this case, I would hand deliver the card, so these stickers are perfect for those occasions.
For the mini notebook, I embellished the front with a journal card and floral die cuts. This notebook is perfect if you have a instant camera. You can quickly make a mini album using some pre-cut cardstock pieces, staples, washi tape, and Open Road embellishments. I love packing a storage-size Zip-Lock bag full of scrapbooking necessities to make something on the fly.
To create the mini folder, I die cut it from Open Road patterned paper and embellished the file tab and front with cardstock stickers.
So, don't wait until your travels are over to create. Start now or even surprise a loved one with a fun day trip. Just don't forget to document all your fun happenings.
I love this! The Day Trip card if super cute, and I love that "scenic route" project.
