Love This: Silly Selfies & Insta Fun - Adrienne Alvis

Hello everyone! I'm so excited to be here sharing my first Crate Paper project with you today. I created a layout to document something I'm currently loving right now...spending one-on-one time with my daughter each morning. My daughter goes to preschool every day at noon, so we get to spend the mornings together, just her and I. I'm soaking up every ounce of this special time with her because next year, she'll be in Kindergarten full-time. For this layout, I used a few photos of us taking silly "selfies" together, which happens to be something she loves.

I arranged my photos in an offset grid pattern and layered a piece of patterned paper from the Love Notes collection behind the top photos. I used several of the photo overlays from the collection to add pops of red and pink to my layout. Because I posted these photos to my Instagram feed, I was really inspired by the "insta-camera" chipboard piece and place my title on top of it using the pink foam Thickers.

I used the heart and the library card stamps from the Love Notes acrylic stamp set on my layout for some extra layers and dimension. I placed one of the acrylic hearts on top of the heart stamp to make it stand out in the little heart cluster on the left side of my page.

I wanted to document this small, special moment we were sharing so I printed my journaling directly onto some patterned paper and layered it in strips on top of a cut-out tag.
