Oh boys. Yes, boys will be boys. I have two of them. They track in mud, wrestle with each other and have been known to try dare devilish moves when I'm not looking. They're rowdy and rough, and sometimes, just plain wild.
They love to create with Legos for long hours on a Winters day and run around building forts in our timber during the warmth of Summer.
They're sweet and loving when it's time to be tucked in at night and would protect their little sister if the need ever arises. They're boys; our boys and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Last Fall, our oldest son was able to take a trophy whitetail deer during our Illinois Youth Season. The Boys Rule collection contains just the right wordage to express the excitement of his success.
I used pop-dots to add dimension to the different layers and finished it off with a few stitches from my sewing machine.
The next layout captures the boys playing with their Dad's rope in the front yard last Summer. I stood back as I often do and captured the activity from afar until our youngest decided to try and rope me instead.
I used a vellum Photo overlay to highlight a smaller portion of my photo.
The circles of the Race Track paper mimicked the rounding of the rope and created a great guide for adding my title work.
The next page is from the same days activities but with photos of my oldest. I used the idea of a "gamer" but changed it to an "Outdoor Gamer" comparing how the boys play outdoor games more than video games.
Once again, the Photo Overlays are used to frame and draw your eye to the photos.
Have fun capturing the adventurous boys in your life today!
LOOOVE this challenge!! It's right up my alley! I love CP and I am the mother to 4 boys...I can't wait to get started! These layouts are awesome btw!! Love the outdoor gamer!

I've sent my entry off to you yesterday. So hope you received it. I love your products and have quite a few of your goodies, but obviously don't have all your collections. I've never won a competition with you before though so fingers crossed this time.
