We're dusting off the Crate Christmas tree and decorating it with handmade ornaments crafted from our very own, Bundled Up! There are hundreds of ways to create personalized ornaments - we've just a few to share this week. We welcome you to take a peek! They're as cute as the real deal, if not more so!
After coming across numerous of these rolled paper ornaments on Pinterest, I couldn't wait to try them myself. The Bundled Up collection holds just the right combination of colors for the look I wanted to achieve.
I cut a multitude of sizes to create mine. The largest one (showing the snowman paper) was created using both 4 x 4 and 3 x 3 squares; while the smaller ones were 3 x 3 and 2 x 2.
The quickest way I found to make the cones was with my tiny attacher. One staple and it was held just perfectly. Once I had a pile of little cones, I brought out the hot glue gun and attached them to a circle of chipboard (you can use any kind of cardboard, just something sturdy to glue the pieces onto). I created one layer at a time and then hot glued the smaller layer on top.
The finishing touch came together by adding a few embellishments from the layered sticker pack, cardstock die-cuts and badges.
While these are adorable on a tree, they can also be hung directly on the wall like previewed in my first photo.

COLOR COMBO WINNER
You delivered on your favorite Christmas Color Combo and we're delighted to announce the winner - lots of holiday color love going around, especially from within the pastel and gold family. There was even a mention of turquoise & red, a BIG fave amongst us! Congrats to the following Crate Fan...
In the past I've always been a traditionalist with green and red. This year I have been loving pinks and teals with a hint of gold!
