Hi, it's Anabelle and I'm here to share my scrap space with you today. I'm lucky to have a room all to myself. It's definitely my "woman cave". I get most of my scrapping done early in the morning. By 6'am, I can usually be found sitting at my table, with a cup of tea, watching the morning news and creating projects.
Here is a view of the space. I'm still working on it, so ignore the lavendar carpeting. Aqua is my favorite color, so that's the color I went with for the walls. Red and lime green are the accent color.
I have been a Crate Paper fan for a long time! Even before I was a member of the design team, I hoarded CP goodies. I keep all of my Crate products in a special spot in my room. Here is a view of my vertical storage containers. I sort my papers, stickers and chipboards out by collection. Each container holds several lines and I've labeled the tags with the names of each.
My embellishments are sorted into baskets and are organized by collection, too. This makes it easy for me to find them.
I keep the Thickers that coordinate with each of the Crate collection in their own basket, as well.
One of my favorite items are the 6 x 6 paper pads that come with each collection. I LOVE using them on my cards and Project Life spreads. It's so fun having the smaller patterns to work with.
Directly behind my table is the area where I keep all of my stamps. I love having them in easy reach. I've organized them in plastic DVD sleeves and keep them in baskets sorted by manufacturer. The white basket next to my sewing machine holds my newer stamps that need to be filed. As you can see, I haven't gotten around to doing that in a while. ;) The plastic drawers are filled with stamps, embossing powder, acrylic blocks and other items I use for stamping.
Here's my washi collection. A friend gave me this thread holder and I decided to put my rolls on it. I love washi!
I love displaying things in my room. On this shelf are some of the cards that people have sent me. Most of them were made by my talented sister in law, Patty. I love seeing them as I work! To the left of the shelf is a scale that I found at a thrift shop. Right now, it holds my current project life album. A couple of my other recent minis are displayed there, too. Do you see my son's 5th grade Memories Album? It was on the CP blog not too long ago!
My mists, buttons and ribbon have a spot all to themselves. I sorted these all by color.
I often look for cute containers to hold my items. I have a lot of milk glass, but I have collected some other items, as well. This colander sits right on my table and holds all of my adhesives.
I love this tiered wire basket and decided to display my wood stamps on it.
Currently, my Raskog cart from Ikea is my favorite thing in my scraproom. I love it! I decided to house all of my mixed media items on here. It holds my Gelatos, water colors, markers and chalk inks. You can see some of my milk glass collection here. And see that table in the background with the little containers? That's my wood veneer collection.
Well, that's about it. Thanks for taking a tour on my space with me. Now, when you see my projects on the blog, you'll know where I created them. I'm sure you can see why I love spending time there!
Loved seeing your scraproom, Anabelle! Totally agree on the colors in your room :-)
