The Summer seems to be flying by in a hurry. We've done a lot of different activities from walks along the Seattle Waterfront to using the Slip 'N Slide in the backyard. I wanted to stop and take the time to record some of our memories before I forgot them, but I also wanted an easy way to put everything together. I ended up creating a mini album using the tags from The Pier's Splash Cut Out Sheet. It was so simple to just cut out the individual tags and slip a metal ring through them to hold the album together.
I used a pink slide frame on the cover to give it some depth. I just layered the frame over a "hello Summer" tag and added a tiny heart for dimension. The cut out sheet has two different sizes of tags, so I used the small tags as accent pieces on the cover and between some of the pages.
I couldn't believe how quickly this project came together. In order to make things even simpler, I used Photoshop to type my journaling straight on to my photos before I printed them out. Then, it was just a matter of adding some stickers and chipboard from The Pier collection, and the whole album came together in less than an hour.
What types of activities are you doing this summer? I highly recommend creating a tag mini album as a fun and easy way to record your favorite summer memories!

*An assorted tag selection is included in the Fall/Winter Crate Paper collection release; Flea Market, Close Knit and Bundled Up.
They're not only conveniently printed on a single sheet of 12" x 12" paper, but they're economical, too! Simply cut them out and put them to use however you like! We love Marie's whimsical Mini Album - It's a sure way to capture the summer before it's gone!
Wowwwwww! This is beautiful!!!

Am so impressed you whipped this beauty up in an hour, Marie. Wow! I, too, adore those sheets of tags. I buy some from every line every season and use them on my cards. So very versatile.
