At the Beach Mini Album by Deb Duty + Free Silhouette Cut File!

Hi Everyone! Today, I'm sharing a simple minibook including a Silhouette cut file that will make the prep work quick and easy. If you don't have a digital cutting machine, that's okay. You can still manually cut and score your pages with no problem.

Here's a look at my finished minibook about a recent beach trip...

So let's get started! You will need the following:

Silhouette or paper trimmer and scoring tool
Ribbon
Patterned Paper and/or cardstock
Embellishments
Photos sized at 2.5" square

If cutting manually, cut your paper at 5.75" x 4.25". Score a line one inch from the left side. Punch a hole for the ribbon about one inch from the top and bottom centered in the one-inch section.

If you are using a Silhouette, I created a cut file to create the pages including a perforated line for the fold and two holes for the ribbon like this.

The cut file includes two pages so you can cut two out of the same paper at once, but if you only want to cut one page out of your paper, just select one and delete it or move it off of your canvas. You can download the cut file HERE.

Once you have your pages prepped, the fun part begins! I gathered together my photos and some embellishments to match my page.

Add your photos and embellishments on the right side of the book. My photos were all printed at 2.5" square and were cut out leaving a thin white border. I used paper and embellishments from Crate Paper's Pier collection. It was a great choice for my beach photos!

The last page includes a cute paper bag from the Party Day collection which I used to hold a journal card with all the details from our trip.

Once you're done creating your pages, just tie them all together with a ribbon and you'll have a cute little book full of your memories!
