Let it be known, we are extra lucky here at Crate Paper because our Project Life Gals do an amazing job of taking the everyday, and turning it into a remarkable work of art. Literally, their pages are well involved while encompassing much of Crate's PL persona. A lot of love and care goes into each and every page. Today's PL entry is no exception - Megan has put her whole heart into her March PL presentation; 8 pages worth! We're honoring this lengthy, highly appreciated contribution by savoring it over two days, today and next Friday. That's right, we're splitting it into two posts! The first installment is ready to enjoy! Come take a peek and pin to your hearts content!

I have been going full throttle with my Project Life album this month. While I still didn't do it specifically by week, I id do a large review of the month's activities; 8 pages to be exact!
This month, you'll find that I used a large variety of Crate Paper product, including the Maggie Holmes, DIY Shop, Party Day, and Acorn Avenue collections.
As I have done in the past, I started with a title block in the upper left corner. I used a variety of ways to incorporate journaling on this first page; pockets, journaling tags, and even some hidden journaling tucked inside a vellum envelope.
I really had fun incorporating the photo overlays into my design this month. They instantly create a fun "instagram" look; even to 4" x 6" photos! Check out my before & after just below of the photo with and without the overlay.
On the right side of this spread, I focused on our Saturday mornings spent at the YMCA watching our boys play basketball.
I used a variety of different sized photos and created a collage look with them by trimming them to fit inside the page protector.
The Party Day chipboard numbers work great to highlight their team numbers.
The next page turned out to be one of my favorites. I created a "currents" page. This is something I would encourage everyone to do once in awhile. I did this one about me and my current loves activities, but you could do one for each family member as well!
I used a good amount of the sweet Maggie Holmes collection with a bit of Acorn Avenue mixed in to create a beautiful color palette.
I used the top acrylic page from the mini clipboard album as an overlay as well. I then attached my flair button on top of it so that the overlay would remain nice and flat.
The right side of the spread is a 12" x 12" page that I'm just giving you a glimpse of for now. You'll have to check it out later in the month in the March Crateware Gallery.
And that shall about do it for today! Trust me, I have lots more to share with you as to this latest Project Life undertaking. Visit the Crate Paper blog next Friday to see the rest! Have a great weekend CP Fans!!
This is fabulous!! Love it!
