We've even more new faces up for introduction today, almost all of whom are new members to the 2013 Crate Paper Design Team. There are some familiar faces as well! Come see what all the excitement is about - an abundance of paper crafting talent ahead!
Hi Everyone! I'm Katie Ehmann and I'm thrilled to be a member of the Crate Paper design team! I live in Michigan with my awesome engineer/cyclist husband and two dress-wearing, super frilly, always girly, princess obsessed girls, Lily and Maya. I'm not quite sure how that happened because I love playing soccer and wearing anything but dresses. I'm employed full time a school social worker, but after work I'm a scrapbooker, wanna-be photographer and do-er of all things crafty. I love vintage cameras, typewriters, spray paint and finding sweet stuff at estate sales. You can also find me watching really super intellectual, high quality reality television on a regular basis. I've been scrapbooking since I was a child and filled books with magazine cut-outs and scratch and sniff stickers, but really began creating as a hobby after my daughter was born in 2007.
My all time favorite Crate Paper collection (although it's nearly impossible for me to choose only one) is Pretty Party - I just love those bright, cheery, summertime colors!
Hello, my name is Kimberly Garofolo Neddo. I'm both pleased and honored to once again design with these gorgeous products by Crate Paper. I enjoy working with the Fabulous and talented team of inspirational artists. I've been crafting for 16 years and counting! My favorite subjects are my beautiful family that I have been blessed with. This includes my children Noel (20), Foster (16) and Olivia (10) and 3 bonus children; Mike (23), Alex (22) and Charlie (16). On most days, you will find me with my camera taking pictures of pretty things and pretty people as a Photographer, or at the Salon making people feel and look pretty, as a Hair Stylist. I love ALL of my jobs, but above all else, I love being a Mom. Other fun things I really enjoy doing include my new love of knitting, as well as a continual practice of Yoga. As a paper crafter, I love to find ways to create unique embellishments using pre-made products. My favorite products to create and work with are stamps and patterned papers. I've been blessed to be published several times with many wonderful magazines. This includes Creating Keepsake, Scrapbooks Etc., Scrapbook Trends, Scrapbook and Cards Today and several others over the years. I've been honored to have some of my photography make it on the cover of Creating Keepsake and Scrapbooks Etc a few times, which is always a HUGE joy. My youngest daughter thinks she is famous! Well, this is me in a nutshell. I'm looking forward to another FABULOUS term with Crate Paper and hope to bring inspiration to all of my favorite people in this industry.
I love all Crate Papers and working with the different elements of each line. I love this layout and all the color variations and how the differences are pleasing to the eye without distracting from the photograph. I really had a lot of fun making this banner, too.
I really LOVE all the wonderful new embellishments and papers with the new collections. Subtle mixed with bold, vintage, made modern and I just LOVE the photo overlays as they add so much to the photographs and that is always a plus for me.
Hello, I'm Magda. I'm a 25 year old gal from Poland where I live with my beloved fiance. I've loved scrapbooking since I first heard about it. My scrapbooking adventure started in the Summer of 2011 and now, takes up all my free time. I can easily describe my style as a lot of white with drops of color here and there. I'm a washi tape and white thread addict. I love to scrap about my everyday life; those whom I love and and life occurrences. Besides playing with paper, I enjoy photography and one day, hope to make a career of it!
I love Fourteen! I think it perfectly suits my romantic style. I like it's bright, pastel colours and soft touch of pink. I'm not a huge fan of pink, but this time, it took all my heart! My favourite add-on from the collection is the cute, mini alphas. I also fell in love with the beautiful stitched labels.
Hi! I'm Marie Lottermoser and I live just outside of Seattle, Washington. I've had a wide range of jobs from operating bumper cars at the local amusement part to being the Director of Human Resources for a large engineering firm. These days, I'm a stay at home mom to my two kids, Max & Kyla, and spend my spare time doing photography and scrapbooking. I love everything vintage and retro. My husband and I were college sweethearts and have been together for 28 years! I'm absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Crate Paper team!
I love bright colors and Crate Paper's Fourteen collection! I made a heart pocket out of patterned paper and tied it together with ribbon. I put in a tag for each of "my valentines". I plan to hang this on the wall as a decoration and then after Valentine's Day is over, I will put any cards and memorabilia I get into the pocket and add it to my scrapbook.
My favorite CP collection has to be the new DIY Shop. I love the eclectic colors and patterns, and the ephemera pack is a match made in heaven for me. From the vintage embellishments to the gold glitter, I love it all!
Hi there! I'm Rebecca and the paper-crafting bug bit me about 6 years ago when I decided that I wanted to make our wedding invitations from scratch. I had no prior experience and didn't even think I had a crafty bone in my body, but something made me want to do it and I've been hooked ever since. I mainly design cards; though I love some of the current scrapbook layouts and mini albums I've been seeing lately and have recently started to try my hand at them.
I have a terrific husband and we have a sweet and silly two-year-old son. We are expecting our second child in March. They're my priorities, but last year, I returned to school to pursue a degree in Graphic Design and I love it! I live in Southern California, but my home will always be in Upstate New York, where I was born and raised. I'm addicted to color, instant coffee and 90's British music.
Crate Paper is my first Design Team and I feel like an impostor when looking at the talents of others out there in the paper-crafting world. I'm extremely grateful and excited for this incredible opportunity, though, and my goal is to be inspired by the product lines and other design team members to make me a better designer.
My all-time favorite Crate collection is Story Teller. I love the muted colors and the vintage-inspired images and ephemera from it. I remember when I saw the sneak peak for it on the CP Blog..I instantly fell for it and waited impatiently for the release, scooping it up as soon as it was available.
Hi again Everyone! I'm Sasha, currently living in Sunny Island Singapore with my family. I think we will be living here forever, but who knows what's coming? Life is an adventure, right? I've been 'making stuff' for as long as I can remember. I'm that girl who can't seem to leave the stationary/art and craft department. I love hand-stitching on my layouts, on linen, on tags, you name it. If it can be pierced, I'd probably stitch it!
The journey with Crate Paper has been awesome so far and I'm ecstatic to stay another term!
Papers from Sleigh Ride - I love how I can use them easily for non-Christmas-sy layouts! Stitched labels from Fourteen - Can you say cute? And they're stitched! A Bonus! Buttons and Brads and Bingo Chips from every single collection - this is a staple. I don't think my projects are complete without them. Tons of design, endless potential. So easy to incorporate into my projects.
I'm so thrilled and honored to be back on this amazing team for another term. I'm a mother of 2, a wife to a very understanding man and I teach French literature. I live in the French Alps but would you believe I hate skying!! I love being at home, and most days you will find me playing board games with my children or creating in my studio. I started scrapbooking 5 years ago in order to record the small events of our daily life and somehow, find beauty in them. I quickly grew addicted to this way of expressing my creativity. I love bright, happy colors and layers. I'm addicted to my Cameo and 3D adhesive.
My favorite Crate Paper collection of all time is probably Emma's Shoppe, although Sleigh Ride is my second best! I love the amazing quality of Crate Paper products and the vintage look of all the collections.
My name is Stephanie Dagan and I live in France with my husband and three children. I'm totally passionate about scrapbooking and photography and have been so for 8 years now. I like to mix colors and patterns, and am addicted to pattern paper, so much so that I plan to collect it indefinitely. This is why I often prefer to create mini albums rather than pages. I'm very happy to be a part of the team another year. Crate Paper is definitely one of my favorite brands as each collection is always pure happiness and a joy to create with.
Story Teller & Pretty Party.
