Neutral colors are some of my favorite palettes to use in my projects. I love how you can combine multiple shades of neutral colors and still get a contrasting result. During the Fall season, neutral color combinations are perfect. When I saw the inspirational graphic, I knew that I would have to include wood grain pattern into my design. Crate Paper's wood shapes are so fabulous and I wanted to make sure one was added to my card. I designed a card using patterned papers with neutral colors which allowed me to add a bit of color as well. The great thing about neutral color combinations is that you can add any pop of color and it'll match! So, if you're looking for a new color combination to try, use some neutrals and then add a color or two! And don't forget..have fun!

I'm here with you sharing my project for this month's creative weekly, focusing on "all natural". I chose to create some fun gift cards where wood grain patterned papers serve as the perfect background for tiny pops of brightly colored confetti pieces. I created petite vellum die-cut jars to house them using my Cameo. Aren't they the cutest, ever?!
Fall is California is definitely not the same as it is in Switzerland. In September, we still have hot days and you can find me sitting at my desk, impatiently looking out the window that overlooks the town, waiting for those leaves to change colors :) To emphasize that, I chose to add some colorful banners to my page. Even though Fall is just around the corner, Summer hasn't said good-bye yet..not in California!
