It must be the influence of Spring that most of you went with the blue family in response to yesterday's inquiry. We're more than ready ourselves for warm weather, sunny days, blue skies and beach living! Before you know it, you'll be working with the splashy color palette while rejoicing Summer's arrival - you might want to throw in PINK while at it, too ;)
Let's keep at it, shall we? Here are more happy, friendly Chartreuse projects to peek upon...

This really was a challenge for me! I barely ever work with green anymore (even though it used to be one of my favorite colors earlier on!!) I prefer cute pinks and teals, so this was quite hard - but a lot of fun! It's good to stretch yourself in what you do. It opens new doors and who knows, you might find your new fave color/style/shape/etc.
What do I associate "green" with? My choice of "green" is representative of the coming Spring. So, to produce my Spring-themed layout, I collected various green elements, most Crate Paper! There is much "green" to be had from Crate Paper's line-up. One in particular is a "Chartreuse" patterned paper titled "Lime" from the "Lemongrass Collection". Even though it goes back quite a ways, it still a patterned paper I enjoy. As far as the newer collections are concerned, there are plenty of "Chartreuse" options - Pretty Party hosts a softer version that I also really like - note the green tag just beneath the photo!

I've been waiting to put together a little book of must do and see in Bangkok; starting with the famous Chatujak Market (my shopping haven) that I always plan my trips around (the market is only open on the weekend). Then, there's my doggies that I miss so much and wish that all 20+ could be with me in Singapore (uhmm, on second thought, maybe not "all" of them). For my mini album, I used pattern papers and stickers from the new Story Teller Collection with a sheet or two also from "Paper Heart". As for the inner pages, and to create an accordion effect, I glued a series of circles together and folded them down the middle. It makes for a nice surprise!

Note yesterday's GIVEAWAY if you haven't already! There is still time to chime in with a Chartreuse color combo if you feel up to it. The randomly chosen winner will win a sizable box of Pretty Party goods this Friday!
