And here is our very last set of CP Girls to join us for the Winter/Spring 2012 Design Team Term! Again, more familiar faces, but still ample new ones to coincide with them! In total, we've sixteen team members, plus our co-hosts, Christine Middlecamp & Tara Anderson! Congratulations ladies!!
Hi! I'm Anabelle O'Malley! I live in Delaware with my husband and our eight year old son, Ryan. I have been paper crafting since Ryan was a baby, and have loved every minute of it! Along with creating layouts, I love card making and trying out new techniques. I also love creating decorative gift wraps and tags. I'm an early morning scrapper. I'm usually up by five and hang out in my scrapbook room with my coffee, the news on TV, and my latest scrap goodies. I'm absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Crate Paper design team and can't wait to see what this year will bring!
Technique of the Moment
I really love to layer and cluster. Crate's chipboard and stickers are the perfect embellishments to do so!
Hi! My name is Charlene Cundy, and I'm beyond thrilled to be a part of the design team for Crate Paper! I live in beautiful Northern California. I'm single and have two grown children and two grandkids! I've been scrapbooking for about three years. By day, I work as a Human Resource Director and Accounting Manager for an Imaging Center. By night...a scrapbooking addict! I started paper crafting with the birth of my grandchildren. I have always been in to art in one form or another. I started Tole painting years ago, and about five years ago, I started making jewelry, but paper crafting won over my heart! I still pick up a paintbrush, but I'm most likely to paint on a card instead of wood! The majority of what I make is cards, but I have made mini albums, banners and scrapbook pages. I love getting lost in the designing process. I get giddy when I get to sit at my table and create! I've been blessed to have some of my work published in Paper Crafts, Scrapbook Trends, and CARDS magazine. When I'm not scrapbooking, I LOVE seeing my grandkids, going to the ocean, and visiting waterfalls. I love coffee and a great book too!
Technique of the Moment
My current favorite technique is masking with mists. I love the different looks you can get with this technique!
Hello, Jaime Warren with you! I have always had a love for photography and creating. Being able to combine the two has been a dream come true! My love for photography started at a young age and became a passion of mine as a teenager. I was introduced to scrapbooking by a friend and from that moment I was hooked. Scrapbooking is, for me, a creative outlet. I am able to share my love for my children, husband and photography through my pages. I have been fortunate enough to have been a Memory Makers Master as well as design for several different manufacturers over the years - something I never could have dreamed was possible for me!
Fussy Cutting - I love to use patterned paper as embellishments and then pop dot them for dimension!
Hey y'all (in my southern accent)! I'm Latonia Grant and mother to an awesome seven year old daughter, Aniyah, who I adore and is the subject of 99.9999% of my creativity. I live in sweet home Huntsville, Alabama, and I'm a true southern gal at heart! I've been scrapbooking since 2008 and I absolutely love it. I scrap with the motto, K.I.S {Keep it Simple}! I really enjoy embossing and stamping, especially with glitter, and gold & silver powders. I'm your typical "girly girl" who loves pink and sparkly things. I couldn't be more excited to be on CP's Design Team this term!
Stamping & Embossing (as mentioned in my bio)!
I'm Lilith. I was born in Leuven, Belguim on January 26, 1979. As a child, I grew up in South Africa and my parents moved back to Europe when I was a teenager and settled in the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg. I now live in the South of Belgium in the Ardennes. I'm a mother to four marvellous, but mischievous boys (Damien, Noe (8), Robin (5), and Elouan (2)) and have been married to the most wonderful man for over eleven years. I'm a part time foreign language teacher. Besides my passion for languages and teaching, there's also music, photography, and on the top of my list, SCRAPBOOKING. It helps me unwind from my hectic days being a mum and teaching teenagers. Scrapbooking has made me realize that I can be creative and I love documenting my family's life. It has made me become more confident and willing to have a go. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Crate Paper Design Team.
Border Strips & Mist!
My name is Michiko Kato. I live in Osaka, Japan with my dear husband and our three lovely girls. I've been an avid scrapbooker since about 2007 and alongside the hobby, I like photography too! I especially like snapping photos of my children
If I were to describe my scrapbook style, I'd reference it as simple, clean shabby chic, with the primary focus being that of collage. It's also quite playful and extraordinarily detailed.
My favorite technique is to add vellum paper to my layouts. I love the look! Also, I'm an avid user of Copic Spray, rather than mists. Copic spray is brighter, and so much more fantastic! Finally, I like to include lots of twine as well since it brings about a great deal of change to my work. It's one of my more important go-to items!
Hey y’all! I’m Sarah, sometimes known as Sarah Martina, and I’m a happy crafter from the Cajun south– Louisiana! I guess you could say that paper-crafting is my first passion, but only if you don’t count my incredible family first. I joined the online craft community in December 2008, diving in “head first,” and I haven’t been able to stop since! Making cards is my favorite way to design, but I also enjoy creating mini albums, altered items, gifts and more. I am married to my hero and best friend, Sie. Together we have abeautiful daughter, Sydney, and a fun-loving son, Sie, II. When I’m not lounging with them, I love getting my hands dirty in my hideaway craft room.
Crate Paper holds a very deal place in my heart, and I'm elated to spend more time designing with them!
Right now, my favorite "Technique of the Moment" isn't really a technique, but rather something I've recently fallen more and more in love with...and that is playing with color! Even though color was something I would shy away from in the past, I now find it more exciting and inspiring than ever. And the best part of it all - Crate Paper reigns supreme when it comes to color!
My name is Stephanie Dagan. I live in France at the seaside. I spent part of my life near Paris and then I followed my husband to Normandy. We have three children, Oscar {Nine Years Old}, Clementine {Seven Years Old} and Eugene {Five Years Old}. I have been scrapbooking since the birth of my daughter and always with a lot of passion. I'm also passionate about photography. There is something magical about photography and truly, nothing makes me happier than to capture the small something that makes all the difference in terms of perspective. I like working the sensitivity of the eye. It falls along the same lines as scrapbooking!
Hi Everyone, Piradee Talvanna here! I was introduced to the world of scrapbooking in 2008 when I relocated from Thailand to Singapore for work (I'm originally from Bangkok). It was there that I walked into my first scrapbook store and quickly became addicted to all the beautiful papers and fun embellishments. Scrapbooking not only allows me to explore and challenge my creativity, but also helps me to de-stress after a long day at work; as I scrap away the wonderful memories that hubby and me are creating here. I've also had the opportunity to be published in several magazines including Creating Keepsakes, CARDS, Scrapbook Trends, Scrapbook Inspirations, and Scrapbook Memories. I'm also currently a part of the Creating Keepsake Dream Team (2011 & 2012)
Technique of the Moment
At the moment, I'm addicted to layering and the usage of banner elements. Almost on every project, there's got to be at least one or two banner elements tucked away somewhere.
Hi!! I'm Tara, an island girl at heart, now living in the sunny desert, in a tiny touristy town called Cave Creek in Arizona. I'm a wife to my best friend Peter, and a mommy to 2 incredibly cute little kids, Alaina and Chase. They are always willing to have their photos taken...every scrapbookers dream come true! Most days, you can find me with a vintage camera in hand, looking for that next photo to take and scrapbook with!
I love creating pretty and messy layouts! I really enjoy searching for vintage items to incorporate into my work. I think there is something incredibly charming about mixing the old with the new. (Not to mention, I love trying to find a way to recycle and reuse everything!) Vintage ledger paper, postage stamps, sewing notions and fabric are some of my favorite vintage finds to use in my projects. Scrapbooking is truly the best of both worlds for me...I get to create art, while documenting the everyday little things that make life wonderful!!
Technique of the Moment
Vintage. Vintage. Vintage.
Christine Middlecamp with you! Where do I begin, or should the real question be, has it really been four years since having met the aquaintance of Lisa and Steve? I don't think I could of been any luckier, honestly..or at least that's what I thought until recently. The Crate Paper family has grown, as many of you are readily aware, and we're cozied up amongst the wonderful people at American Crafts. That said, I'm beyond honored to be a part of the CP/AC family as Crate Paper's Design Team Coordinator! With this new term, the goal was yet again to create a top notch team to inspire you, and lead you down the path of beautiful projects made from what'll soon be, Crate's newest collections! I'd like to ask that you welcome them with open arms, and also, return tomorrow for some more exciting news!! The STORY has only just begun...
Oh my goodness, do I have a technique of the moment? I suppose I've taken Tara Anderson's knack for homemade flower making, though I'm no where near the caliber or style of her uncharted florals. They're so pretty!

In having reached the conclusion of this weekend's DT Intro, Crate Paper eagerly insists that you attend it's blog once more, tomorrow! There's a SURPRISE or two you won't want to miss!
