We thought it'd be fun to start off September with an early holiday gift or two for those of you visiting us today! Beneath the Crate Paper tree is a brightly colored stack of beautifully wrapped Peppermint Kits. We've tidied them up with intricately woven ribbons and yet to be noted, present labels that require filling-out of names. So how does one go about having their name added to one of the presents? It's as easy as sharing with us your upcoming holiday project ideas, though if you're without one, you're welcome to leave a comment none the less. We'll add names to all three labels (three giveaways) next Monday and bring good cheer to those chosen with a brand new, ready-to-go Peppermint Collection Kit! Good Luck to Everyone!
We've an extra special DIY Holiday Handmade Item that's to coincide with today's gift giving from our CP Girl, Rahel Menig. It's perfect for housing one's own personal wish list or plans in preperation for the not-so-far-away holiday season....
Once again, the kits winners will be randomly chosen and announced next Monday, September 5th. Please have your comments posted prior to Sunday, September 4th, 11:59pm {Central Time}.
My holiday project idea will be decorating glass jars and filling them with many homemade goodies for family and friends.

Ok, I have started Christmas cards before in october, but never earlier than that. That is my plan so far, but I would love to get one of those little paper mache houses and decorate it up all festive for the CHristmas season. I saw one at a local craft store the other day and want to alter it.

What a great little planner! I love it! This year I'm doing Christmas cards for sure, and probably a little something to go with the teacher gift too.

Oh Rahel, this is amazing! I would love to win!!
My Christmas cards will TOTALLY be made of Crate Paper this year! I just ordered some FABULOUS new Lawn Fawn stamps and several pages of the Peppermint collection (from 2Peas) & the Snow Day Collection (from Scrapbooks.com)!!!! I've gotten my stamps & scrapbooks.com order & am anxiously awaiting for my 2Peas order (please hurry Mr. Postman!!!). I can't wait to get started!!! I have this whole stamped/paper pieced concoction that I have planned and I'm literally dying to get started!! My project will be on display on my blog (http://heathersscrappiness.blogspot.com/)
on 9/9/11 for the Lawnscaping Blog Hop if you Crate Gal's would like to peek. I'll also email it to share ;).
Ok, thats a long comment, obviously I cant wait to play with my new Crate goodies! I love Crate Paper - I wish I could've bought every page in the peppermint collection, but because I had to buy SO many pages of certain papers (for my cards) I'll have to hold out for a few weeks...you know, if I want to remain married ;) - I'd love to win some thanks for the chance!!

Still having to plan my christmas cards, and would like to make co-ordinating gifts to go with the cards, eg covered note pad with calender and matching pen!

I don't have any specific Christmas plans, but I do want to do my own handmade cards in the least. I figure the sooner I start to work the more I will have to do... first things first, I am working on all the details of my best friend's baby shower.

Hopefully this year I will make my Christmas cards. Last year was too crazy and emotional. I love Crate paper and to win some would be an awesome treat. Last year I did alter frap bottles and carrier for a gift, so there is always a chance of making one again this year. :) Thanks for the chance to win!!

Holiday projects...oh where do I begin?! I will have home decor items to teach at my LSS, my December Daily which I'm already getting prepped for, I always make a few cards for close family and friends, my BFF and I always do a handmade ornament exchange and then of course the paper crafting I will do with my two little boys, they always like to make presents for their grandparents...I wonder where they get that from?

I love the Christmas Planner! I have been making our Christmas cards for years. I have started collecting ideas and materials for this years' cards. I am also thinking about making Advent Calendars for my family!

I've always wanted to make a December Daily album, but never got round to it. So this year - and with THIS collection - I could finally do it. Oh and I'll definitely make all my Christmas cards - preferably with Peppermint. The collection is sooooo yummi!
