We read all of them. Yes, every single one of them. And as we read through them, our hearts echoed both the joys and sorrows expressed from the childhood stories of our followers that were shared in response to this weekend's mother duo giveaway. To choose just one seemed almost impossible, but after much thought and multiple re-visits, we carefully decided upon this one as it grasp and tugged at our heart strings to no end....
When I read the question, I thought it would take me a while to decide which memory. The first thing that came to mind was camping trips. Then, about a half a second later, I knew I had my answer as tears welled up in my eyes and I continue to cry. My favorite memory is standing at the kitchen sink, drying the dishes as my Mom washed them. This was our time to talk and we likely did this hundreds of times as I was growing up. I'm so thankful for all of that time with my Mom and her wonderful listening ear.
