Finally, the very last day of Crate's Spring Fever is upon us!! It seems like all weekend we've been greatly anticipating this moment because there's an amazing prize that's been kept secret from all of you until today. Of course, we're not going to dispose of the details just yet as our girls have more gorgeous projects to share with you as part of our three day Spring Fever festivities. We'd also like to thank everyone for participating in our recent giveaway opportunities and hopping along with us these last couple days!! We've plans to sit down and read through "all your replies" in the next day or so. We'll then go about announcing the five randomly chosen winners, including today's extra-special prize winner, tomorrow! First though, lets get to them half dozen, Spring-roll'en CP Girl projects...

Hop, skip and jump - exactly what came to mind when we saw this layout from Larissa Albernaz! Look at that sweet girl jump-roping and with real rope too! Such a fantastic way to use our little girl from Emma's Shoppe...check out the bunnies and easter baskets too. Just darling.

 

Jen Chesnick is the first to introduce Crate to an Easter table centerpiece and from what we've been able to learn about it, the idea came together rather quickly (we would of never guessed!). What we love most about it is Jen's use of the easter egg banner as it really brings together each of the encircled, cutely decorated containers that Jen's created. Note the numerous Neighborhood chipboard community members - Mr. Bird and Ms. Bee!

 

Every dinner table that's to serve family and friends this Easter should require a basket like this for the giving of a special dessert or treat, don't you think? It'd be a wonderful surprise and would create a lasting, joyful impression amongst everyone - it might also result in your hosting the holiday's again next year!! Our CP Girl Anne Jo Lexander created this one for giving as well...

 

Oooooh, our favorite Easter tradition - dying Easter eggs with the little ones!! It can be such a messy process, but it's almost non-optional this time of year, especially for those of you wanting to create special memories for your kids. We know how important this tradition can be to them and obviously, so does Amy Heller! So much fun being had here!! 

 

This is probably one of our favorite giveaways as of yet and for good reason - it's Spring and if there's any place you're probably going to shop at in the next month or two, it's The Container Store!! Ever been in a Container Store before? Once you walk in, it'll take you about hour or two just to get out and that's because they've more pretty boxes and containers than anyone else out there. Plus, they're the icon of storage solutions! So, are you drowning beneath mounds of crafty goodness and running out of room to store it all? Well, we're here to help you get ahead of the mess - up for grabs is a $100 gift certificate to the container store - the only requirement on your part to win it is to inform us of your less-than-organized situation..what's happening on the home front that would benefit from a box or two? There's definitely some Spring Fever going around out there from the looks of things as far as we can tell from the hundred plus comments posted here over the weekend. Either you're staying "in the house" to clean and catch up on a room or two that's been neglected all Winter long, or you're desperately seeking to get outside (whether the snow has melted or not!) to fine tune the disarrayed garden and grass that is currently dominating the backyard. It also appears that a few of you have worked up plans for a fresh batch of Spring projects! Hopefully some Crate will find it's way into all that craftiness!! If you're still without our Emma's Shoppe, now is you're chance to add it to your stash for them upcoming projects!! Kaori brings out a softer side of our dear Emma's Shoppe, though she still manages to bring forth lots of beautiful layers that her style is so commonly known for. She's also not skipped out on the acrylic, but it looks more attuned to dew drops which are so very pretty. We'd love to see an up close peek of'em - they're absolutely perfect for Spring! 

 

Totally technique based and sweetly made for her daughter's room, Kinsey Wilson sent us her Easter celebratory tree creatively constructed with fuzzy piping and multi-layered ornaments. There's quite a few underlying techniques to try out here..the options are plenty and amply well thought out! Our favorite is the circle with the large Emma's Shoppe red wooden button - it's one of Lisa's favorites!!  

 

Wouldn't this be a nice lil' addition to your home or front door entrance to greet your family members on Easter? Sneak in a treat or two as a welcoming gift "just for fun"- Lori Gentile is the artist of this exquisite showpiece. She suggested filling it with candies and other delightful edibles in time for Easter! 

 

Neighborhood is really our classic "Spring" collection - it can be used for just about any Spring themed project. Sarah Martina paired it with a delicate, charming Easter card/glassine envelope that is too-cute-for-words!! Imagine this showing up in your mailbox right before the big holiday?! Quite Heavenly. 

 

A tag to sit next to the Easter Basket is something that every child would enjoy - after it's been recognized, you could easily preserve it as a keepsake or as part of layout celebrating the events of the special day. It's small enough that it shouldn't take a whole lot of time to do either - dress it up to suite your taste (or your child's)! This tag is from our Creative Keepsakes designer/editor, Mou Saha!

There is something wonderfully refreshing this time of year as Spring approaches and presents us with hints of warm weather, glistening rain, newly risen tulips and wakeful mornings of birds chirping. It represents a new beginning and fresh start! Here at Crate, we're readily excited in starting anew and partaking in Spring's unavoidable necessity for a change in direction - one that calls for major Spring cleaning and of course, scrapbooking/crafting about those things most popular this time of year including Easter, gardening, family time, home life and outdoor fun. Jaime Warren knows how to spread lovely details across a layout - so much so, you simply can't look away! Within all them details are hints of sweet mother nature, including hand-cut florals from Portrait's Bridesmaids patterned paper, Emma's Shoppe Accent Cards and Neighborhood's chipboard collection.

 

There's something about Spring that brings us closer to family. Danielle Flanders brings us back in time when her girls were of a younger age and as cute as can be. Partnering with this cuteness are hints of Emma Shoppe and perfectly situated leafy sprigs trimmed and created from Portrait's Pearl patterned paper.

 

Everyone loves a good ol' fashion Easter egg hunt, especially on warm days and with the little ones initiating all the fun! And it's not always about what's inside them eggs either, the running and finding is usually the dominating theme for most kids. Lexi Bridges talks about her family's egg hunt tradition with assistance from our "made-for-Spring" collection, Neighborhood. We love how she's incorporated the egg banner behind her title - such a great idea!

 

If there ever was to a be a "Welcome Spring" card, this is it! The creator of course is Amy Heller and her collection of choice is again, Neighborhood (you'll probably be seeing a lot of Neighborhood the next couple of days on our blog). Note the fenced chipboard door and it's butterfly acquaintance - need we say more? Too cute....
