Hi Crate Paper fans, it's Lucy here to share the
March Crate Color Challenge.
I chose colors that seem to be a hot trend going on right now......charcoal, yellow, kraft. You can spot the grey and yellow combo all over in home decor and fashion. I can't wait to see your version of this stylish color combination.
Just a few rules for the challenge:
- You may submit a layout, card or project to be eligible. Projects need to be submitted by midnight (EST) March 11th. Email them to me @ [email protected]
- You may use the colors in any proportion you wish, as long as you use all 3 colors in the palette. And you may add black, white or kraft paper to the colors.
- Projects must use at least 50% Crate Paper - you may mix any paper lines you like, old and new.
- The winner will be announced on March 14th and I'll share some of my favorite projects here on the blog. The winner will selected based on creativity and quality of work.
And your palette......My take on the palette......I combined papers from Neighborhood and Emma's Shoppe with some fabric to soften things up. Chipboard and silver paint are my grey's - yellows come from the book strip and chipboard accents - and kraft in the grid background from the Neighborhood collection. I love how fresh and spring like the colors can be!
