Hey there, Crate Paper fans!
Sarah here, and today I have a fun & easy card tutorial to share with you. Some of my favorite elements of the new collections are the Alpha Labels Sheets. They are so full of charm, and make adding the finishing touches to your projects so super easy. So let’s get started!
We’re going to start with a cut-out from the Accent Cuts and a pretty frame from the layered die cuts.
Layer the frame over the Accent Cut, using dimensional adhesive… I just love dimension!
Next, you need to create a title with the Alpha Labels and Phrase stickers. These stickers make it so, so easy to customize your projects. I can’t stop using them!
Cut a pink card base from card stock, and then cut some blocks from the pretty patterned paper in the collection.
Layer the cut out blocks using some more dimensional adhesive, then add some stitching in a nice contrasting color. Stitching is my favorite way to add some fun interest to your projects.
At this point you’re ready to put the pieces all together. So adhere your decorated frame onto the cardbase.
Although you could stop there, I love creating a touch more interest by adding some brads, buttons and twine. The embellishments in this collection are delicious, and they really tie things together quite nicely.
And that’s that…Here’s another look at the final project with some close-ups:
Super fun, isn’t it? I hope you enjoyed seeing how I constructed this card. Layering is your friend! And with all of the gorgeous trinkets in these new collections, it is a breeze to create a project with lots of depth and detailing.
Thanks for stopping by today! XoXo, Sarah.
