Hi Everyone! Jaime here with a new tutorial using the gorgeous Emma's Shoppe collection! This collection is so stunning, from the papers, to the stickers and buttons - it's just wonderful! Having three daughters, this line is a perfect fit for me!
I created this layout using lots of layering, stamping and misting. I find myself gravitating more towards inks and misting these days! They just add the perfect little touch!
This is where the layering begins! I layered two sheets of Emma's Shoppe, being sure to distress all the sides with my Heidi Swapp Edge Distresser. Then I added the next layer of paper - rounding the corners before attaching.
Now for some stamping! I'm in love with white ink lately - I love the soft look it adds to a project. I stamped just the far right side, stamping it several times over (with the help of a script style old fashion rubber stamp).
Next, it's time to spray some mist! I used this white mist (Studio Calico Mister Misty) because it has a more matte finish and doesn't warp the paper. I misted my layout several times and then removed the nozzle and slung some of the mist onto the page.
*White paint might work here as well if your with the white mist (though loven' the white mist).
I used two different border punches for this layout - one for the right hand side and then another to go around the edges. I simply punched and then attached!
Now for some more layering! I love all the die cuts that Emma's Shoppe has to offer! I layered a bunch of these beautiful die cuts and then attached my photos over them. I tucked some of the border stickers on the far right side, under some of the layers.
To keep the layout even, I created another little layered collage to the left. I used my butterfly stencil to trace out the butterfly and then trimmed it from the paper. I attached it to corner as shown.
Now it's time for the title! I love the Emma's Shoppe woodgrain alphabet stickers - they're the perfect size! Directly under the title, I attached my journaling strips.
I really enjoyed creating this layout to share here - Emma's Shoppe makes the creative process easy and fun!
Absolutely gorgeous, Jaime! LOVE it!
