In honor of President's Day, we're partaking in a round of Crate Paper presidential trivia as part of today's post and giving away a Portrait Collection Kit to one lucky person. It's time to get your thinking caps on 'cause we're about to test your political knowledge of this country's history..and for those of you who completely ignored history while in high school and all the years prior, fortunately for you, the questions are still very doable - thanks to the White House (hint, hint). Of those that forward us the correct answers (yes, you have to email them to us at info@cratepaper.com...don't post them in the comment section!!), we'll choose one of you to take home our Portrait Collection Kit. Ok everyone, it's time to start the clock and put on your thinking caps - Good Luck and please, keep your eyes on your own paper!
He won the Republican nomination for President in 1860 and resided over the Civil War before his assassination at Ford's Theatre in Washington? (now this is easy..)
In what year span did George Washington serve as president of the United States?
Which president in history lost both his first wife and mother on the same day? (ok, so maybe they didn't teach this in school, but they can't all be guess-worthy)
This Vice President followed in the footsteps of President Roosevelt on April 12, 1945 and witnessed the signing of the charter of the United Nations.
He's the 44th elected president of the United States and loves basketball....
You've until tomorrow {Tuesday} 12:00 am Central Time to send us your answers! We'll announce the winner on Wednesday {February 23rd} - Happy President's Day!
