This is the third and final collection of this week's "Customer Appreciation" event - today's entirely devoted to "School Spirit", though we threw in a few extra's because as it just so happens to turn out, not too many of you are working on school themed projects right now! We're guessing this has something to do with it being the middle of the school year and just getting back on board with the ol' routine that usually follows after a long Winter vacation. So, how many of you are enthused to have the kiddo's back in school? Are you finding more time to scrapbook again? If so, remember, we still have TWO days left before the week is over - that means there is ample time for you to submit your CP projects to us for posting here! We've lots of space to fill, so take a moment and email them projects to [email protected] an added incentive, cause we know how much you love freebies, we'll giveaway a $50 Crate Paper prize pack to one of you!! We'll also be giving away two additional prize packs over the next couple of days, so be on the look-out for them! Moving along....
Another Storyboard Kit Club designer, Ebony, forwarded us her monthly projects for November - this is just one of the four layouts we received from her. We've plans to share the others either tomorrow or Friday!
Marielle Leblanc did a wonderful job of demonstrating school spirits flexibility when it comes to non-school themed projects. She's created an adorable layout about the precious time spent with her son while embarking on a nightly ritual of reading together.
Anything that mentions "Green Eggs and Ham" will automatically find itself here...though honestly, we love that Nicole Martel mixed-up the backgrounds between the two layouts. One is purely solid and the other is all about our "Chemistry" patterned paper - isn't it amazing how much a background can change the orientation and feel of a layout?
This is really a genius idea - Stacey Hansen oriented a series of rulers from the "Ruler" patterned paper to tell the story of her son's 5th birthday celebration! Growing up happens so quickly, doesn't it Stacey? Note the use of the "score card" as well - simply brilliant!
We've a couple of extra layouts up our sleeves that hadn't exactly fit into one category or another. This first one is from Amy Hoang of Singapore - she's brought us back to the Cottage collection, which has definitely turned out to be one of our favorite collections of all time! We love some of the homemade elements that Amy has added to her layout, including the hand-painted crackle backing and super cute banner!
We've a confession to make, very rarely do we see a mix of our CP collections on one project. We actually greatly admire when someone takes the brave step of mixing things up a bit! These kinds of layouts usually get noticed by us right away...Sarah Webb used both Restoration and Snow Day for creating her layout - the airplane is an added bonus - too fun!
That about sums up day three - it's a short one, we know, but we've lots to present on Thursday and Friday from Restoration, Snow Day and School Spirit! Do join us tomorrow as we continue the week with more of your projects and of course, a giveaway or two! Hope you're enjoying a great thus far! Take care!
