Hi Everyone, Lucy Edson here with some ideas about printing your photos onto patterned paper. This is a technique that I love to use to add depth, texture and a unique look to some of my photos. I have a couple of examples to share with you in my video.
Printing Photos onto Patterned Paper from lucy edson on Vimeo.
A close-up of the printed photo, this was printed onto the grid paper in the Snow Days line.
Here you can see the entire project...a mixture of papers from Snow Days, Restoration and Brook. Embellished with printed transparencies and chipboard.
And a close-up of my embellishments:
And I created another layout also using the same technique, as seen in the video:
In the photo detail for this layout, you can see how I cut a tag from the school lined paper from School Days and printed my photo onto the tag.
I hope you'll give this fun technique a try..I'd love to see your results!
Such gorg layouts Lucy, and indeed - printing on patterned paper can cause a great effect (or just provide a great laugh too if it didn't turn out like you thought haha :) )
