Hi everyone! Attention! Today I'm practicing coming out of my comfort zone! In general I always describe my style of scrapbooking quite simple and light. I love printed papers and embellishments so much that I leave aside the stamps, paint, inks or cutting. I often choose simplicity and speed. I don't wash my hands too much! LOL. Today this challenge will allow me to dust off some of my equipment!
I love mixing clean & simple with freestyle, which is why I decided to use gesso, paint and ink for this project.
To start my page, I spread white gesso on a white cardtock so that you can make a background with pink watercolor. Once dry, I covered it with pink watercolor and I waited again for the whole to be dry.
I then superimposed pieces of different papers from the Carousel collection of Maggie Holmes, mixed with some pieces of white tulle. I cut pretty flowers from the Rose Park paper (I rarely do precision cutting!) and I placed my photos.
Thank you for following this challenge!
