We're all familiar with the popular "selfies" these days, right? Thanks to camera phones and other hand held devices social media sites get bombarded with these funny little self portraits. Well, apparently my three year old is up on this social media trend. I found a large amount of hysterical selfies and knew they needed their own page in my album
I used the Flea Market collection to create my page. The camera chipboard piece paired with the overlays and frames tied in perfectly with the "photo" theme. I prefer to use the smaller 6 x 6 paper pads in my Project Life album simply because I love that the patterns are smaller.
I used one of the little pre-stitched pieces that come in the ephemera pack to add a quick embellishment to two of the cards.
The touch of gold in Maggie's new line may possibly be my favorite; well, next to the deer chipboard piece which I'll show a bit later.
If you haven't done it already, get to downloading all those silly selfies and record them forever! Hee!
Next, I created a spread using the Close Knit collection that captures a day Ella and I spent with my parents. My mom and I made tomato juice and soup using the tomatoes we had grown in our gardens. Just the way her Mom taught her. Ella spent the day with her "gampa" riding on the gator and working in the garden with him. It's days like this that I want to cherish forever.
I tend to take way more photos than I "need" (if there is such a thing) which often times leads to little room left for journaling. So, I like to create a hidden journaling card which is simply an additional card with a tab at the top letting everyone know there's a bit more to explore.
Lastly, here's a look into a spread I created using not only new Crate, but a few pieces from the past as well.
And the deer; this is my favorite little guy in the entire new release. He's just so perfectly girly with a touch of "tough". How awesome is he for recording our Bass Pro trip?!
